Wire sucks

Today I got alot done with Grim Reaper.  I was able to get the wings working.  I started adding wire to the wings and it just didn't work.  Going to have to strip it off and get heaver gage wire.  I have a video of my test for the wings.

Oh, I also order a replacement for the RC Crawler guys right arm.  As I was widening the hole for the adapter or coupler to the arm, it cracked.  So I had to order another piece.  The piece will have to been made to fix the motor again.  It sucks.

Little clip job

After getting frustrated with the crawling zombie, I decided it would be a good idea to work on my Movable Winged Grim Reaper.  I used PVC cement and glued the pvc wings together.  I then cut them in half since I thought it would look better.  I look ok but it won't cause as much strain on the motor when I have it open the wings.

RC Zombie 1/2 way

Well, I got good news and bad news.  The good news is I got half the RC Zombie working.  The bad news is I broke the right connector as I was widening the hole.  This was the connector I needed to make  to replace the eye bolt that wasn't welded right..  That means I have to make another one and I don't have any more metal.  I did order some today.  Here is a quick video of the RC Zombie.

Crawling Zombie

Its been a while since I have been working on my crawling zombie but I have been working on him lately.   Since my friends at chb welded the part backwards I have trying to come up with a solution.   The arms get connected next.

Demon Wings

Been working on the wings for the Grim Reaper.  I think I got the direction of where I want to go.  I didn't have any pvc cement so I had to go easy when testing the wings.  But I made a short video on the progress and the last part of the video shows my FCG Ghost eyes.

I started the Grim Reapers wings today.  The main goal is to make them movable.  I see some issues with the design and will have to beef up the back part before going further.  But this is what I got so far.

First Post

Hey my first blog. Go figure. Anyway, I am starting on the electronics of my winged grim reaper.  A few weeks ago I bought a Grim Reaper from a haunter in Oak Lawn, Il.   It needs some work.  But after messing with it a bit, I got this notion to give him wings.  It then gave me the notion to make them movable. So, the first pic is of the reaper I just bought.  The 2nd is the diagram that I am using to make his wings movable. I started working on the electronics for him too.  It should be cool.  WEll, I hope.  I know the diagram sucks, but what can I do besides go to art school.
