Midwest Haunters

 I got the chance to check out Midwest Haunters Convention in Chicago.  Very cool getting to go back to a Halloween type convention.  Here are some photos of the event.

 

Yay!!  I got tickets to go to Midwest Haunter Convention in Rosemont, Il.  I went a few years ago and I must say it was a fun time. It isn't super large like Transworld, but its large enough to have fun.  I will post pictures in June.

Oh I worked on my Halloween Chatter App for my props.  I decided to make it so I could change the IP just in case I had to switch units.  This video doesn't look cools by any means.  But for me its awesome since I can monitor all my props to see if they are still working etc.

Horror Cons

I have ben really slow on getting my Halloween stuff but I have been active at going to horror cons. Last year I went to Texas Flashback Weekend and Flashback Weekend held in Chicago. Really enjoy meeting all the celebrities from the horror movies.

Halloween App

 Its been awhile, I know.  As I get older its difficult to get back on the horse to get these projects done.  But I still love Halloween even if I cant get my butt going.  Anyway, I have working on my Halloween phone app to control my props.  It needs a little attractive graphics but I think its ok for now.  This is my test phase so it will look more like a chat room than an Halloween control app.  But the overall goal is that I can send commands to turn things off or it will send me messages to what it is doing.  Like what song its playing etc.  FYI, you won't be able to see this app in the android store.  This was just a app that I made for myself to control things.

Hauntcon Virtual

 Finally I am back on here.  Have not had any good news as of late.  Always something. But as of late, this week to be exact, I was able to go to Hauntcon without leaving my house. They had a virtual con online, which was a very good idea.  They had some really good classes on here which I tired to participate in. Haunt Topic had one too that I had to ask a few questions.  The good thing about the virtual con was that it was free.  I certainly couldn't afford to pay to much to go.  But it was a good time and I hope they have other like this soon.

No Halloween

 We decided that since we just got off of quarantine with COVID-19 that we would close our doors for Halloween. Its sad but I think it was the best choice. I hope next year is better.

I don't know!

This year is going to be a weird year for Halloween.  I am not sure if Halloween will even be allowed this year.  Plus, I am planning on putting in a garage this year and that might get in the way.  I really don't know what is going on this year.  I really don't.
