Neopixel Halloween sign cont

I got the neopixels set on the board now. At least now you can see what it is saying.

Midwest Haunters Convention

Finally Midwest Haunters Convention is coming to ILL.  I decided to go.   I have been to Transworld many times when it started in Chicago. Even went to Vegas and St. Louis.   I have even been to Ironstock in Kentucky.  This is going to be the first time for Midwest Haunters.  I can't wait.  I will post pics.

Neopixel board

I was sick this weekend but I did get a few things done.  I got a 2x2 piece of plywood and placed my neopixels on it.  I guess my plan is to make this like a tomb or crypt and have it sit out front while it is scrolling what I need it to say.  I am not 100% sure how this is going to go but I think this should be a good start.

Neopixel sign coming along.

I finally go my Halloween sign working on my esp32.  Its hard to tell by this video because the pixels are spread out too far but it says Halloween.   This esp32 will be a client to my Halloween server.  So it will make all these pretty images etc and then when the server tells it, it will print out Happy Halloween or show how many days until Halloween.  I am glad it is finally working.

Skulls getting better

Face is getting better. At one point it look like a horse.  But it still needs something.

First skull In progress.

I have been working on one of my ground breakers today. I had to reshape the face a few times. Might have to do it a few more times. We will see. So far it's ok. Wanted it more scary.

Update: The skull looked like a horse smiling so I changed it up a bit. Looking better.  Might add a few other things before I continue.

I found my Unborn prop on someone's page.

I found out today that my Unborn groundbreak is on Residence Style website.  Not sure if that is good or not but it doesn't appear that they are using it to make money.  Well, I don't think so.  But it kind of cool that they are using it.

LInk to the page.

Here is the link to the image.  The image is way down the page at the bottom.

Here is what is the article right above it.

{ 8 } Scary Halloween Decorations

There are many decoration ideas that one can utilize to achieve the scary atmosphere. Reapers can be very effective in scaring people away. They can be placed upside down for more effect. Hanging bats can be used both indoor and outdoor to bring out creepiness. The ideas can be very easy, such as placing a head in a jar. The head is made out of paper and then inserted into the jar, which will be filled with water. Mummies can be placed in the yard or along the walkway and they will be very effective in bringing out the scary factor. A chicken wire can be used to come up with a ghost, which can be placed in the yard. Upstate your Scary Halloween Decorations.

Update: I found another link to the image.  So, I guess I shouldn't be worried that they are trying to make money on it.

Link to other site.

The other link that I posted had this for the title of the article that my prop is in.

Zombie Apocalypse

Zombies are rage so there is no reason why you shouldn’t let them affect your house. In the front yard, you will have some graves with zombies coming out. You can also get some zombie body parts and spread them all over. Last but not least, you can spice up things with full bodies animatronics to make it look like these creatures are coming outside from your home. Don’t forget the zombie’s brains; they can be a great trick or treat.
